How to add email account in Macbook

This guide shows you how to download your email address to the Macbook email client.

BStart by opening the mail client. image.png

Then you will come to a page that wants you to choose an account provider for the mail, then select "Other mail account" and then "Continue". image.png

There you fill in Name, email address and associated password. Then click on log in. image.png

Now you have to choose which account type you want, IMAP or POP. If you choose IMAP, you can leave the settings as they are. (We recommend IMAP)

If you want to connect with POP, click on this symbol: image.png Then select the option POP. image.png

Here you must fill in which server you are on for IMAP and SMTP. To find your server node, please see this guide: How do I know which hosting node I am located on?

Then click sign in. image.png

Select the apps you want to use with this account, then press done. image.png
